The Halaal Accreditation Council of Africa (HACA) aims to be a leading halaal body in teaching and educating the public on halaal ethics and certification, recognised as a welcoming and professional organisation that promotes halaal awareness and champions halaal food production. All certification functions are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, service and professionalism.

HACA provides comprehensive services to ensure halaal goods are produced in compliance with the highest halaal standards, supervising and certifying the production of halaal goods and providing guidance and support in keeping with halaal protocols.

Founded in 2022, HACA set out to be a leading halaal body in transparent halaal policies and certification processes, drawing on a combined wealth of knowledge and experience in Islamic studies and halaal certification of over 25 years. The organisation's experts possess extensive knowledge of Islamic teachings and continue to consult with local and international Islamic theological advisors to ensure all halaal products endorsed are in line with the teachings of Islam.
