Islam (The Way of Life) is based on Islamic ethos, an A3 tabloid-size newspaper freely distributed monthly in the Eastern Cape (Port Elizabeth and surrounds), KZN, the Western Cape (Cape Town and surrounds), Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Pretoria. These publications run as separate entities, with different advertising for the various provinces.

The paper was launched in the Eastern Cape in July 2006, trading under different names. Its aim is to revitalise Islam amongst all Muslims and to promote Islam to non-Muslims. It is run and governed completely by the Ulema (theologians), making it the first newspaper of its kind in this format.

Its sustainability depends on advertising, so different advertising packages are structured to suit the needs of all advertisers across the various provinces.
