Jews: physical history

The Children of Israel on the map: from the patriarchs and the Exodus to two kingdoms, exile, the Roman destruction, nearly two thousand years of diaspora under Islam and Christendom — and the state of Israel.

The patriarchs and Musa (Moses) carry no dates: the Qur’an gives none and archaeology cannot fix them. Dates from the kings on are historians’ dates.
